Cycling to raise money and awareness for the Oceans

My Story
Admiration and respect for the ocean are part of my life. As a charter manager I promote yachting experiences for clients to enjoy the richness of our ocean. However, I know that the ocean isn’t just for our own enjoyment, and that we share it with a huge and diverse ecosystem, which in turn supports every other organism on this planet. I want my children to see that one must be an active participant to affect change, and that it can be accomplished by coming together with your friends and colleagues, and setting off on a great adventure.
Blue Marine Foundation exists to restore the Ocean back to a healthy state. Their focus is combatting overfishing by creating marine reserves, establishing new models of sustainable fishing and restoring marine habitats. In just 10 years, BLUE has helped protect million square kms of our oceans.
So far London to Monaco has raised a staggering 2 million € for BLUE's global ocean conservation projects, engaged with 380 cyclists from 15 different countries and reached 1.5 billion people through press and online media. L2M is making a real difference to the future of our oceans.
With your help, we hope to raise 500,000 € for L2M 2022 to support BLUE's mission of protecting 30% of the world's oceans by 2030. My fundraising target for the event is: 3,000 €. Funds raised will go directly towards BLUE’s global portfolio of projects and support its mission to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030. The environmental protection, and more particularly oceans affects every human being, without exception. The solidarity is the strength which allows today to unite in the face of this important human and environmental stake that is the conservation of our biodiversity.
