My Story

Ocean pollution is a growing concern. One that Damen Yachting takes very seriously and is proactively taking measures in the fight against it. Back in 2019 we started our #LOVEOUROCEANS initiative as a call to our crews and fleet ambassadors to share their stories and content to raise awareness of the ocean’s depleting condition.

#LOVEOUROCEANS has evolved, and is now the growing platform where you can find many of Damen Yachting’s and our industry’s initiatives to stop the deterioration of Earth. 

As a shipyard, there are always questions surrounding our contribution to protecting the planet. We have answers, and will begin sharing more about what we do to help mother nature and her oceans recover.

One of these stories will be about the London to Monaco bike ride and how our team is raising money to help the ocean conservation efforts of Blue Marine Foundation. This year our team will will take on the almost 1100 km bike ride. The team will spend hours training and prepping their bodies to get to the start line with the aim of supporting our greatest inspiration: the ocean.
